At Tyler Christian Preschool, Our goal is to assist the family in its attempt to nurture and guide the development of the whole child through the power of the Gospel. Our purpose as a Christian Preschool is to prepare children for a lifetime of learning and spiritual growth. Each child is a blessing from God. Prayer, Bible stories and songs will be used to convey God’s love as well as the witness given by the staff in loving your child.
Early childhood experts agree that play is a major learning mode. It is our belief that young children learn at their God-given pace through active interaction with the environment and caregivers. When a child learns to value himself, and feels secure in his surrounding, he is ready to begin his life of learning. Classrooms will be set up with a rich variety of material and choices.

Our Preschool emphasizes the development of the whole child through active learning situations. We strive for a balanced nurturing, caring, and developmental approach to education from ages 6 wks-12 yrs.
Our program provides freedom for children to have spontaneous play and interaction where they make discoveries, explore, solve problems and develop social skills. This, in addition to structured, teacher-directed activities in which children learn to focus attention and function within a group, fosters success and positive self-esteem.
Our curriculum provides opportunities that encourage social, emotional, artistic, imaginative, physical and spiritual development of a child while also offering many activities that allow for development in cognitive academic areas as well as kindergarten-readiness.
